Taylor Swift wedding: The guest list for Taylor and Travis’ wedding could mean several a-list exes are about to reunite

If the rumours are true, the royal wedding will take place in a matter of months.

The word around town is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be tying the knot over the Fourth of July weekend, with sources claiming it’s going to be a “huge”, star-studded event.

We’ve done a little guesswork at which A-listers might be on the guest list, and while we only wish the best for Swift and Kelce, we do have some concerns about potential pairings that may be forced to reunite at the event of the year.

If our speculation is anything to go by, there are going to be a few uncomfortable run-ins at the Swift-Kelce nuptials – including a potential awkward moment for the bride herself.

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles

At the top of our uncomfortable pairings list is none other than the bride and her ex-boyfriend.

Of course, Swift would have no interest in inviting the man she (allegedly) wrote Now That We Don’t Talk about, but rumour has it he’s now engaged to one of her besties.

Harry Styles has been dating actress and member of Swift’s close inner circle Zoe Kravitz for a few months now, and recently she’s been spotted sporting what appears to be a sizeable diamond on her left ring finger.

Thankfully, the whole dating-your-bestie’s-ex-boyfriend thing hasn’t seemed to put a rift in Kravitz and Swift’s friendship, so maybe all will go smoothly when Styles and Swift reunite on the dancefloor at her wedding?

Chances are she and Travis have already caught up with Styles and Kravitz for a double date or several.

Plus, if the speculation surrounding the wedding date is correct, Styles won’t be able to make it anyway as he’ll be performing the final of 12 shows at Wembley Stadium for his London leg of the Together, Together world tour.

Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers

Perhaps the most tumultuous run-in could be between exes Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal.

Bridgers is a close friend and collaborator of Swift’s, opening for several shows on Swift’s Eras Tour and featuring on the 2021 track Nothing New.

While Mescal isn’t a close friend of Swift or Kelce, he is dating singer Gracie Abrams, who is once again a close personal friend and collaborator of Swift’s.

Before he was dating Abrams, though, Mescal was in a two-and-a-half-year relationship with Motion Sickness singer Bridgers.

The pair were very private about their split, but the few details we did get hinted at it being anything but amicable.

The pair were rumoured to be engaged until whispers of infidelity started floating around, and soon after the breakup, Bridgers was rumoured to be dating comedian Bo Burnham.

Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse

It turns out the world of the A-lister is similar to a small country town – everyone knows everyone, and everyone has dated everyone.

Next up on our list of potential exes to reunite at the royal wedding is Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse.

Waterhouse is once again a close friend of Swift’s, and Cooper is dating model Gigi Hadid, another member of the singer’s inner circle.

Cooper and Waterhouse dated for two years from 2013 to 2015, but their relationship came with a lot of public scrutiny.

At the time, Waterhouse was just 23 and Cooper 40, so it’s safe to say the internet had a lot to say about the relationship.

Ultimately, sources close to the couple reported it was the age gap that drove the pair apart, with the couple simply finding themselves at different stages in life.

Today, Waterhouse is married to actor Robert Pattinson with a one-year-old daughter, and Hadid and Cooper seem to be happily raising their two kids from previous partnerships, so we’re hoping that this run-in goes smoothly.

Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff (and Lorde)

Okay, strap yourselves in, because this one is messy. We’ve saved the juiciest for last.

Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff and Lorde are all close friends of Swift’s, but if the three of them end up in the same room together, things could go south pretty quickly.

Dunham and Antonoff first started dating in 2012 and were together for about six years, with the author and Girls creator publicly referring to the musician and producer as her first real love.

Initial reports cited the pair’s breakup as amicable due to them simply growing apart, but then the internet got involved.

In 2017, Antonoff produced Lorde’s album Melodrama, and there were some rumours the pair were a little more than friends.

Those rumours only escalated when, a few months after Dunham and Antonoff’s breakup, a Twitter user went viral for creating and sharing a detailed 29-page PowerPoint theorising about an alleged affair between Antonoff and the New Zealand singer.

The PowerPoint used lyrics, on-stage interactions, paparazzi shots and more in an attempt to prove something had gone on between the duo during the creation of the album.

We could’ve gotten away with saying this is all old news, and the three have probably all moved on since it was so many years ago, but unfortunately it’s all been resurfaced with the April 2026 release of Dunham’s memoir Famesick.

In the book, Dunham recalls Antonoff spending a lot of time with an unnamed “teen pop star” toward the end of their break-up.

”One day I returned home from a bone density test to find her sprawled across our sectional couch, weeping into Jack’s lap as he told her that ‘your teens are for experimenting’ in a tone so comforting, it almost brought tears to my eyes,” Dunham wrote.

“It had been so long since he’d spoken to me with that kind of expansive generosity.”

She also revealed she was aware of the online discourse surrounding her relationship, adding the theories were “so convincing that they had me rethinking events that I myself had been present for”.

So it’s safe to say this drama has been dredged up from the depths of the internet just in time for a possible reunion.

Oh, the things we would do to be a fly on the wall if these three end up in the same room at the Swift-Kelce wedding…
