Actor Varun Tej recently met with a nasty accident. The actor underwent successful surgery in Hyderabad after sustaining a severe knee injury while practising volleyball for his upcoming film Bhari. The film is being produced by his sister, Niharika Konidela.
Speaking to this writer, Varun Tej said, “I was in the hospital till yesterday (April 18), recovering under heavy medication. Now I am back home, undergoing a lot of pain management. The injury happened while training in volleyball for my next film.”
Varun Tej, however, has no regrets about the experience. “Unless one takes risks, there would never be that level of authenticity needed to make any endeavour convincing on screen.”
