Coachella 2026 weekend 2 rumours: Fans speculate about Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber’s performances and guest stars
Though the excitement of Coachella is dying down, it won’t be for long, as weekend 2 is steadily approaching.
With it being the last weekend of the festival for this year’s iteration, headliners such as Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber are looking to go out with a bang, likely booking some high-profile guest stars.
Fans are keeping the rumour mill running, with big names such as Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Rosé of BLACKPINK and other music icons being thrown around.

Sabrina Carpenter’s surprise guest star
When the Espresso singer’s set time for weekend 2 got extended by 10 minutes, there were rumours abound about who could be filling the slot.
One contender is Olivia Rodrigo, who has been teasing a collaboration with her pop-princess contemporary on her upcoming album.

One fan online speculated it could be Rosé of BLACKPINK, since songwriter Amy Allen, who has worked with both singers, reposted Rosé’s reel of herself lip-syncing to Carpenter’s Manchild and tagged her and Sabrina.
The K-pop singer also shared a video of herself dancing to 10 Minutes by fellow Korean singer Lee Hyori, with fans connecting the title of the song to the extension of Carpenter’s set.
Some hopefuls imagined it would be Taylor Swift to take the stage with her young mentee, perhaps singing their collaborative song The Life of a Showgirl live for the first time together.
But the biggest star whose rumours persist is Madonna.
While many fans have wanted a collaboration between the blonde pop stars of different generations, this time it may be a reality.
The Vogue singer has today announced her new album, Confessions on a Dance Floor 2, a sequel to her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.

The Sun reports the 67-year-old has recorded a duet with Carpenter and that it may be the first single on the album, making it the perfect song to sing together at Coachella.
The real reason behind Justin Bieber’s ‘lazy’ performance
Justin Bieber’s set last weekend divided opinion, with hardcore fans relishing the nostalgia and others calling his lack of production or perceived effort “lazy”.
The 32-year-old sang some of his newer hits on the Coachella stage, for which he was paid $US10 million (approx. $13.9 million).
He then sat down in the middle of his stage with his laptop, connecting with his fans on the livestream and playing clips of his music videos and performances from his debut years on YouTube.
He cycled through his biggest hits singing along in what was essentially karaoke to his songs like Favourite Girl, That Should Be Me, Never Say Never, Sorry, Where Are ϋ Now, and even his debut Baby, to many fans’ delight.
But the highlight of the set may hint at why he decided to go in this direction, as well as the identity of any guest stars.
At one point, Bieber got emotional as he hit play on his cover of Chris Brown’s With You.
For the uninitiated, this one of the song covers that got him discovered at age 13 by then-talent manager Scooter Braun and singer Usher, who signed Bieber on and mentored him in his early years.

Bieber owes all his success to that chance encounter.
For this reason, fans believe Bieber’s nostalgic turn may mean he is gearing up to invite his original mentor, Usher, onto the stage for a reunion and retrospective.
