Olivia Dean calls out high resale prices of tickets for her 2026 The Art Of Loving tour
Olivia Dean has called out three entertainment companies for “allowing” resale tickets to her shows to be sold at high prices.
The English singer-songwriter, who performed in Sydney on Thursday night, shared a message to her Instagram stories calling out Ticketmaster, Live Nation and AEG Presents for “providing a disgusting service”.
”@ticketmaster, @livenation @aegpresents you are providing a disgusting service,” Dean wrote.
Shortly after tickets for the North American and Canadian leg of Dean’s The Art Of Loving tour went on sale, fans shared screenshots to social media showing resale tickets reaching extremely high prices.
“The prices at which you’re allowing tickets to be re-sold is vile and completely against our wishes,” Dean continued.
“Live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible. Be better.”

An hour earlier, Dean shared a post to her Instagram stories apologising for an “issue with ticket re-selling and pricing”.
“Hello world! I’m sorry that there seems to be an issue with ticket re-selling and pricing. My team are currently looking into it,” she wrote.
“It is extremely frustrating as the last thing I want is for anyone to be scammed or overcharged for our show,” she continued.
“Please be wary of buying tickets in the comment sections as it is most likely a scam.”
Tickemaster’s official Instagram account was quick to react, resharing Dean’s story to their own story with a comment.
“We support artists’ ability to set the terms of how their tickets are sold and resold,” the company wrote.
“@oliviadeano, we will cap resale prices on our site at face value and hope other resale sites will follow.”
Ticketmaster, Live Nation and AEG Presents did not immediately respond to nine.com.au’s request for comment.
It also comes days after Ticketmaster made a “typo” in listing the prices for Dean’s tour presale, with some tickets listed at more than $750.
In a post to X, Ticketmaster clarified that the price was a mistake and that refunds for those who paid the incorrect amount “have been automatically issued”.
Issues surrounding resale tickets, particularly on the Ticketmaster platform have been popping up for a while, with several artists calling out the platform over the years including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and British band Oasis.
