Miley Cyrus engagement ring: Jeweller Nick Ireland reveals diamond, carat details, likely cost
When Miley Cyrus and her partner Maxx Morando stepped onto the red carpet for the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere in Los Angeles, all eyes were on her left ring finger.
The 32-year-old showed off a massive ring, immediately sparking rumours of an engagement, which she bashfully confirmed a day later.
Now we have taken a closer look at the ring, with Australia-based jeweller Nick Ireland sharing the intricate details that make up the “stunning” piece.

“The diamond is an elongated cushion cut and set across the finger, east to west,” the jeweller told nine.com.au.
Ireland estimates the ring to be between four and five carats, and if a higher quality diamond was used, it could cost up to $500,000.
The ring “appears to be set in an 18 carat yellow gold rubover (bezel) setting, which looks fairly ‘chunky’!”

The ring was designed by jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche, who was confirmed by her rep, Francesca Consulting, to have custom-made the ring, per People.
Francesca Consulting also shared details of the rock, revealing that it is a cushion-cut stone set in a “chunky” 14-karat yellow gold band.
The Flowers singer confirmed the news of the engagement to the outlet, telling them that the couple want to keep their privacy.
“The detail that I can share is that for us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I’ve been astounded that I’ve actually been able to have and being able to have more choice,” she said.
“I think it’s also being older, being more protective of what I’m open to sharing,” she added.
She spilled more details about the proposal on Good Morning America, two days after the event.

Former star couple’s daughter’s big reveal months after proposal
A day after confirming the news she was engaged, she shared that the 27-year-old drummer got down on one knee during their recent trip to Asia.
“I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered,” Cyrus explained.
And clearly, the proposal wasn’t something she expected.
“And I’m telling you, I was so, so surprised,” she added.
She confirmed Morando did get down on one knee when he popped the question.
The Party in the USA singer noted her fiance “did good” when it came to picking out the ring.

The pop star then flashed her new rock to the camera.
The Grammy winner and the drummer were first romantically linked in December 2021.
At the time they were photographed getting close together backstage during Cyrus’ NBC holiday special, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, in Miami.
In April 2022, they seemingly confirmed their romance when they were spotted kissing during an outing in West Hollywood.
