Beckham family feud: Cruz Beckham acknowledges brother Brooklyn in Instagram photo as row rumours continue


In a surprising move, Cruz Beckham has seemingly extended an olive branch to his estranged brother Brooklyn this holiday season.

Cruz, 20, and Brooklyn, 26, reportedly unfollowed each other in June this year as rumours of a Beckham family feud came to a head.

But on Thursday, the budding musician posted a telling photo to his story from simpler times, featuring his famous father David, Brooklyn and their brother Romeo, 23.

The photo depicted the four Beckham men posing on their sun-soaked family holiday, back when all were still on speaking terms.

While the Story itself was uncaptioned – simply featuring the photo itself – the initial post, made in 2021, fondly read “love you guys.”

The photo is a far cry from the current state of familial relations among the Beckham brood.

Over the last year, tensions continued to mount on social media – with a number of seemingly shady comments flung back and forth between the brothers.

Eagle-eyed followers noticed that Cruz had mocked Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz Beckham following a comment she left on Romeo’s ex, Mia Regan’s, Instagram post.

Nicola had initially commented “So beautiful Mia,” which Cruz then copied, exact emojis and all, on Romeo’s post two days later.

But the feud reportedly runs deeper than sibling squabbles.

Rumours of tension between Brooklyn’s wife Nicola-Peltz Beckham and Victoria emerged after the former failed to wear a wedding dress designed by her mother-in-law for her 2022 ceremony.

Since then, the Peltz Beckhams have pointedly kept their distance from family events even going as far as missing milestones.

The pair failed to attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations in Miami, and more recently were absent as he received his long-awaited knighthood at Windsor Castle.

The Beckhams have not publicly interacted since April, with Cruz’s Instagram story being the first reference to his eldest brother in that time.
