Taylor Swift gives woman working on Christmas Day at Arrowhead stadium $600
Taylor Swift was doing more than just cheering on fiance Travis Kelce on Christmas Day
The 36-year-old was there to support her partner during the Kansas City Chiefs game at at Arrowhead stadium in Missouri, but also handed out cash – to those working at the stadium on the holiday.
Robyn Gentry was one of the workers who had an interaction with Swift on the day, and revealed that it left her “immediately crying” in a post on Facebook.
Gentry explained she was talking with some co-workers when security came through, first it was Kelce’s mother, then Kelce then Swift.
“She was running around telling everyone ‘merry Christmas’ and came towards me, saying ‘thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this, Merry Christmas,” she wrote.
“My mind just froze. Of course I said Merry Christmas and thank you so much.
“Travis and her were smiling so big and just kept saying merry Christmas, thank you for working Christmas but then they were gone and I stopped to look at what was in my hand…. $600.”

Gentry explained that was the same as her pay for two weeks, and as a mum-of-eight, she had spent a lot on Christmas.
“I immediately started crying,” the post continued.
But despite being in need of the cash, she can’t bring herself to spend it all. She’s also set one of the notes aside and framed it.
“Taylor and Travis are beautifully kind people. It’s very true, incredible and very kind people. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to me,” she finished the post.
The post was shared in a Taylor Swift fan group on Facebook and has attracted thousands of ‘likes’.
Swift’s generosity for those working on Christmas comes after she donated $1 million to Feeding America and the American Heart Association as well as another large donation to the Recording Academy’s MusiCares.
