Robert Irwin speaks out on his relationship status after romance rumours with American actress Xochitl Gomez
Robert Irwin has spoken out once and for all about his relationship status following speculation about himself and US actress Xochitl Gomez.
The 22-year-old appeared on KIIS 97.3’s Robin, Kip & Corey, where the hosts didn’t waste time on formalities.
Robin asked, “On behalf of every single woman under the age of 30. Are you single, Robert Irwin?”

Irwin laughed heartily before saying, “Oh, we’re going straight in for the exclusive! Yes, yes,” he confirmed.
When asked if he was looking out for someone, he said, “Oh, definitely. It’s one of these things where I’m like at this point in my life where you’ve got to let it happen. Because I’m so here and there and everywhere at 100 miles an hour.
“So, I’m just like, I’m open to it. Kind of let that happen, let that in. Watch this space. There’s not much to report at the moment.”

When Corey joked, ”I’m a good wingman, Robert. Mate, I’m a great wingman. I’m not ashamed. I will go talk to anyone for you,” the Dancing With The Star winner saying, “I’ll take you up on that.”
The MirrorBall champion was briefly rumoured to be involved with US actress Xochitl Gomez (who was a previous winner) after she made a guest appearance on the dancing competition.
The actress was paired with Irwin during the show’s 20th anniversary celebration, performing a high-energy jive that had fans raving about their chemistry.
Later when TMZ caught up with him to ask about his relationship with the actress, he said, “Oh my gosh, we had the best time. That dance was so much fun.
Compared to his foxtrot with his normal dance partner Witney Carson, “the dance with Xochitl which was just like energy and fun. She’s the best, it’s been really, really great,” he said, pointedly not denying the rumours.
The actress was later seen dropping by his trailer hours before he won the competition with a bouquet of flowers.

The I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here host was previously in a relationship with Rorie Buckely, Heath Ledger’s niece, from 2022 to 2024.
