Ozzy Osbourne death: The original Prince of Darkness, life in pictures | Black Sabbath frontman, has died aged 76

Osbourne with then-fiancée, Sharon Arden (later his wife) in Los Angeles, on December 21, 1981.

Five years his junior, Sharon helped Ozzy kickstart his solo career when he was sacked from Black Sabbath in 1979 due to his drug and alcohol abuse.

The rocker had been previously married to Thelma Riley when he and Sharon first met.

Ozzy and Thelma share two children together, daughter Jessica, born in 1972 and son, Louis, born in 1975.
