Oscars 2026 winners: Full list of winners and nominees from the 98th Academy Awards including Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, and Paul Thomas Anderson

The Academy Awards are Hollywood’s night of nights.

Known to fans as the Oscars, a host of big names made their way down the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, including the likes of Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Nicole Kidman.

Aussie Rose Byrne, 46, was nominated for her very first Oscar for her performance in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

The 46-year-old even got a special mention at the start of the show from host Conan O’Brien.

But unfortunately, the homegrown legend narrowly missed out on the Best Actress in a Leading Role gong as it went to Irish star Jessie Buckley for Hamnet, which she stars in opposite Paul Mescal.

Another Aussie who missed out on an Oscar this year was Jacob Elordi, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Frankenstein. The gong went to Sean Penn for One Battle After Another.
