Nicole Kidman celebrates youngest daughter’s 15th birthday months after Keith Urban split
It may have been a difficult year for Nicole Kidman, but she was sure to document a wonderful milestone on social media this week – her daughter’s birthday.
The proud mum, 58, took to Instagram on Monday to well-wish her daughter Faith Margaret as she turns 15 years old.
Kidman, who divorced her husband Keith Urban earlier this year, shared a photo of herself holding a birthday cake for the special occasion.
On the cake in pink icing were the words: “Happy 15th birthday Faith,” while she sweetly captioned the photo: ”Happy birthday, baby!”
Kidman was seen with her head down facing the cake, a faint smile on her face as she prepared for an evening of celebrations with her family.
It’s believed the actress is currently in Australia, choosing to spend time in her home country after her shock split from Urban. The family usually reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
Faith is the youngest of Kidman’s four children; she shares two daughters, Sunday and Faith, with her estranged husband Keith.
The Babygirl star also shares two adopted children, Bella and Connor, with ex Tom Cruise.
The celebration comes following a difficult period for Kidman, with the news of her break-up first emerging on September 29.
A day later she officially filed for divorce.
The divorce papers, which have been obtained by several publications, cite the reason for their split as “irreconcilable differences”.
She also asked to be the primary residential parent in the custody agreement as part of their divorce filing, where she will get 306 days with them, while Urban will get 59 days a year.
Urban has been pretty quiet on social media since news of the split broke, however he was on tour across the USA when it was all breaking.
During one show he went viral due to his reaction to an audience member who was named Nicole, but he’s mainly steered clear from social media.
Meanwhile, Kidman has been very busy and clearly not letting the split get in the way of her moving forward.
Her first public appearance was presenting an award just days after the divorce bombshell.

Since then she’s attended Paris Fashion Week with their daughters, continued to work on filming for the Practical Magic sequel, has been active on social media and more recently made headlines herself at the Sabrina Carpenter concert in Nashville.
The Big Little Lies star was “arrested” by the pop princess for being “too hot” – a cheeky gimmick she does during her shows before performing the hit song Juno.
