Lady Gaga concert Sydney: Dancer falls off stage


Lady Gaga halted her Sydney concert after one of her dancers slipped and fell off the stage in heavy rain.

Dancer Michael Dameski fell off the front of the stage at Accor Stadium during the song Garden of Eden.

Lady Gaga, 34, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, ran to check on him and stopped the concert.

The Grammy Award winner told the backstage crew to “stop”.

The music stopped and the lights dimmed, as the crowd filmed what was happening.

The Poker Face singer told the crowd; ”just one second,” before peering down at Dameski and asking him, “Are you okay?”

She explained to the audience, “we just had an accident on the stage, everything’s okay,” saying, “just, everyone wait a second, please.”

The Abracadabra singer then jumped off the stage herself, asking him if he was okay.

She hugged him before restarting the show.

On stage malfunctions

Dameski later took to Instagram to share a video of himself dancing in his hotel bathroom, with animated raindrops over the top of the video.

“Hey everyone, I’m ok. Thank you for checking. Happy I was able to finish the last show of the year!”

He added another video of himself performing at a concert with the caption, “the show must go on.”

Gaga brought her Mayhem Ball tour to Australia, returning Down Under for the first time in 11 years.

She performed in Melbourne on December 5, Brisbane on December 9, and in Sydney on December 12 and 13.
