KISS guitarist Ace Frehley’s cause of death has been revealed weeks after his passing.
The rocker died of blunt trauma injuries to his head due to a fall, the Morris County Medical Examiner confirmed in a report which was obtained by People.
The manner of death was ruled an accident. He was 74.
The 74-year-old was put on life support after a fall in New Jersey in October, and died just hours after the news broke.
A week later new details emerged and it was revealed that his death was being investigated by a New Jersey Medical examiner and a toxicology test will be done to determine the cause, according to TMZ.
The Morris County Medical Examiner told the publication that an autopsy was not performed on Frehey.
A toxicology screening and an external body examination will be performed on him.

The rep also told TMZ that Frehey’s cause of death would be finalised in the coming weeks, after the toxicology report is completed.

His death was confirmed in a statement from his family.
“We are completely devastated and heartbroken,” the statement said.
“In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth.
“We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others.”
His family added: ”The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”
