Jordan Wright death: The Only Way is Essex star dies in Thailand, aged 33
UK reality TV personality Jordan Wright has died at the age of 33.
Best known for his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) and Ex on the Beach, his body was found in a Phuket drainage canal just weeks after he moved to Thailand.
According to reports, his body was found in stagnant water near Bang Tao Beach about 12.30pm Saturday by a Burmese worker harvesting vegetables police said.

He was said to be wearing a grey top and black shorts but was barefoot when he was found, with his iPhone 17 was found on a bank nearby but not in the water and his hotel room key in his pocket.
Wright’s body was found face down in the water about a 20-minute walk from where he was staying, having checked into Hotel COCO Phuket Bangtao.
His key card provided it identification, with the hotel saying he was scheduled to stay there until Friday, March 13 but never checked out.
“The hotel had been unable to contact [Wright],” police chief Sutthirak Chuthong told multiple UK media outlets.

“A search of the room revealed no signs of forced entry or other irregularities.
“CCTV footage showed that he appeared restless and was moving back and forth in front of the hotel before leaving the area. His movements eventually led to the location where his body was later discovered.”
There were no signs of struggle or assault according to officials but his body had been there for some time, possibly days, before it was found.
An autopsy will be carried out to determine a cause of death.
In his final social media post, uploaded to Instagram a week ago, he shared a carousel of images with fans showing his “fresh start” in the country.
“I’m home,” he declared.
Wright was in two seasons of TOWIE in 2018, when he dated fellow reality TV personality Vicky Pattinson.
Pattinson, who is now married to entrepreneur Ercan Ramadan, hasn’t shared a tribute to her ex publicly but other co-stars and reality TV personalities were quick to share their thoughts.

“Rest in peace Jordan,” TOWIE co-star Chloe Brockett commented underneath his last Instagram post, alongside a love heart.
“Rest in peace Jord,” Love Island star Chloe Crowhurst added below.
A spokesperson for TOWIE shared a message on news of the loss.
“Everyone at TOWIE sends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jordan Wright at this very sad time,” they told The Independent.
