Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie XO debunks wild cloning rumours following country star’s weight loss
Some wild rumours have been circulating in the wake of American singer Jelly Roll’s recent transformation.
Following the debut of his trimmer, beardless look, fans were quick to fling bizarre accusations at the star, 40, claiming he had been replaced by a lookalike clone.
And now Jelly Roll’s wife is weighing in on the tall tales, addressing them in a new Tiktok.

Bunnie XO (whose real name is Alyssa DeFord), 45, shared a hilarious response to the “clone” claims, posting a video of her and the singer featuring the text: “When ppl think your husband is a clone because he lost weight and his ‘tattoos don’t match'”.
The trending audio in the Tiktok intoned “sir, will you please stop staring at me – where’s the the rest of ya?” before cutting to a close-up of Jelly Roll as he looked on over her shoulder – clearly poking fun at the kilos conspicuously shed by the singer.
She further put the rumours to bed by captioning the video, “Btw it took him TWO years to lose this weight, not two weeks.”
The singer, also known as Jason DeFord, initially debuted his clean-shaven look on social media while reacting to his recent Grammy nominations.
“I look like a ninja turtle,” he joked in the Instagram video.
He revealed that the decision to shave his beard for the first time in 10 years was largely spurred by his ongoing weight loss, and the newfound confidence that came along with it.
“Crazy. One of the reasons I even started growing a beard is I was so obese, it was just easier to cover up what was happening here.”
XO, who is the host of podcast Dumb Blonde, admitted on Instagram that it was the first time seeing what her husband looked like beneath the beard since the pair tied the knot in 2016.
“You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, I have never seen this man without his facial hair,” she joked.
