Girls Outshine Boys in Inter Exams in Telangana


Hyderabad: Girls outshined boys in the intermediate exams in Telangana.

As many as 4,89,123 first year students appeared for the exam. Of them, 3,23,807 students registered a passing percentage of 66.02. Of 3,23,807 students, girls registered a pass percentage of 74.40 while boys 57.69.

Around 5,05,948 second year students appeared for the exam. Of them, 3,58,490 students passed the exam registering a pass percentage of 70.58. Of the 3,58,490 students, girls registered a pass percentage of 78.65, while boys 62.50.

Advisor to the Government of Telangana (Public Affairs), K. Keshava Rao and Education Department Secretary and Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) Vice Chairperson, Yogita Rana released the results at TGBIE office in Nampally here on Sunday.

The marks secured by the candidates are available on the websites: https://tgbie.cgg.gov.in and http://results.cgg.gov.in, according to a press release.
