David Warner’s cheeky comment as Usman Khawaja and wife Rachel welcome third child
Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja and his wife Rachel Khawaja announced the arrival of their third child in a sweet family photo shared on social media.
“3 from 3. Amira Maya Khawaja born last Friday,” the proud parents captioned the joint post.
“We are so grateful. Another beautiful girl. 8 more to for a full team!”

Fellow top-order batter David Warner, who also has three daughters with his wife Candice Warner, made a joke alongside his message of congratulations.
“Congrats mate, must be an openers thing,” he wrote, prompting laughs and comments from cricket fans.
Warner wasn’t the only Australian celebrity to offer their congratulations to the couple on their expanding family.
Peter Helliar, Anna Heinrich, Giaan Rooney and Erin Holland were among those leaving comments on the post.
“Congrats- love her name!!!!!!” Bec Judd commented.
Amira is a younger sister for the couple’s older daughters Aisha, five, and Ayla, three.
Rachel shared an extra black and white video of her daughter resting on her chest.
“What the last 5 days has looked like…never want to leave the newborn bubble,” she told fans.

Ahead of Amira’s arrival, 39-year-old Usman announced his retirement from all international cricket in January.
Rachel has been by his side through most of his career in the baggy green.
The couple met in 2015, four years after his first international Test match, while she was studying marketing at university.
They got engaged in 2016 and married in 2017, before welcoming their eldest in July 2020 and their second daughter in April 2022.
