Aussie model and Former Miss Universe Australia Renae Ayris expecting second child with husband Andrew Papadopoulos
Aussie model, dancer and former Miss Universe Australia winner Renae Ayris is expecting her second child with her husband Andrew Papadopoulos, after fertility struggles.
The couple, who already share daughter Harper, announced their happy news with a joint post on Instagram.
“It feels impossible to fit more love in this family … and yet that’s exactly what’s happening,” they wrote.
They shared the news with a photo of their young family taken at the beach.
In the photo, Ayris wears a white coordinated set which shows off her baby bump.
Her husband matches in a white tee as he embraces Ayris.
Meanwhile, their young daughter Harper wears a white dress and holds a sonogram of her unborn sibling while kissing her mum’s tummy.

The couple’s post was immediately inundated with messages of congratulations and support from friends and fans.
“Congratulations,” wrote Aussie influencer Jade Brycki.
“So beautiful! Congrats,” wrote TV presenter Liv Phyland.
Meanwhile, podcaster and radio star Brittany Hockley shared some simple heart emojis as she reacted to the news.
The news comes four years after they welcomed daughter Harper in December 2021.
The couple announced Harper’s arrival with an Instagram post, writing: “Hello world”.
Soon after they posted a video of their newborn to Instagram.
“Harper, our hearts melt every time we look at you,” they wrote.
“Perhaps it’s the lack of sleep, as it feels like I’m dreaming.
“You’re everything we could possibly hope for and so much more! We truly adore you, my dear.”
The couple, who married in 2019, announced their pregnancy in June 2021 after months of “unexplained infertility”.
After 12 months of trying, Ayris went to a fertility specialist who ran several fertility tests, she said in a 2021 interview with WHO Magazine.
“Then we went back in to see them and they were like, ‘Everything’s normal, so we diagnose this as unexplained infertility.’
“It actually is a good outcome, as much as it is frustrating, it’s one of the best outcomes you can have.”
Since their daughter was born, the couple have documented a lot of their family life on social media.
Ayris has also recently documented her experience with IVF to social media as she tried for a second baby.
